  • Natural Beeswax and Shea Butter soften away all cragginess on the surface of the skin
  • Exceptionally bio-compatible Olive Squalane penetrates the epidermis and moisturises from within
  • Glycerine attracts water to the skin like a magnet for moisture
  • Prickly Pear Seed Oil has naturally bountiful vitamins and antioxidants for maximal skin barrier health
  • Natural Lanolin forms a protective smooth layer locking all the goodness and moisture in while keeping environmental stressors at bay
  • Gently scented with a top note of rose, which then diffuses into spicy orris and cloves, leaving a lingering base blend of patchouli and cedarwood. It’s a complex, warming and quite delicious combination.

What people say

Caroline Brien, The Metro Newspaper July 2021

"For chapped, anti-bac hands, massage in Cosmetics à la Carte Hand Rescue Treatment...the light formula is a heavy hitter, rich in softening beeswax, nourishing squalane and protective lanolin..."

Creator - Brand Founder Lynne Sanders

"To rescue my over-washed hands, I wanted a hand cream that really worked, that felt and smelled indulgent, and that sank in really quickly. I'm so happy with the result, which is packed with some of my favourite natural ingredients. Now there's a bottle in every hand bag I own! I hope you find it as useful as I do."

Key Ingredients

Lanolin

Lanolin, a naturally derived emollient from sheep's wool, is a wonder ingredient for skin. It softens and protects skin, acting as an occlusive moisturizer that reduces trans-epidermal water loss by 20-30%. Lanolin improves skin smoothness, has antimicrobial properties, and is excellent for dry, cracked skin. In the refined form we use, it also has low allergy sensitivity.

Olive Squalane

Olive Squalane, derived from olive oil, is structurally akin to the squalene in human sebum which supports the skin’s natural barrier, protecting against water loss and irritants. It smooths and softens skin, retaining moisture and leaving a silky, non-greasy finish. It’s vegan, non-comedogenic, and enhances the absorption of active ingredients.

Prickly Pear Seed Oil

The Opuntia Ficus Indica plant, native to Mexico, produces oil from
its seeds. Rich in linoleic acid, more Vitamin E than Argan Oil, polyphenols,
and phytosterols, it promotes skin integrity, hydration, and collagen
production. It also has antimicrobial and wound-healing properties.
Exceptionally light and easily absorbed, it’s ideal for maintaining healthy
skin.

Shea Butter

Derived from African Shea Tree kernels, Butyrosperumum Parkii has a history of anti-inflammatory and analgesic uses, supported by modern research. Rich in triterpenes, it enhances tissue repair and wound healing. Shea Butter also improves atopic dermatitis and minimizes keloid scar growth. Its buttery texture, high in stearic and oleic acids, makes it ideal for rich creams.
