How it works for you

Complexion Enhancer is a hydrating and brightening essence with light-diffusing, luminizing micro-pearls for a beautiful healthy glow which you can use in multiple ways for dewy skin that looks and feels more youthful.

It’s a Day Moisturiser – with Aloe Vera and Hyaluronic Acid, Complexion Enhancer caresses skin with long-lasting hydration.

It’s a Makeup Primer – subtly smoothing, Complexion Enhancer will enhance the look and staying power of your makeup.

It's a Glow Booster – blend a dewy drop with your usual foundation to add glossy gorgeous radiance. Professionals add it to full coverage bases to ‘sheer out’ the formula for a lighter finish that doesn’t look or feel like make-up.

It’s a Subtle Colour Corrector – the fresh colour-correcting pigments lift away seasonal dullness and help your complexion come alive again.

It’s a Highlighter - applied to the high points of the face like cheekbones and browbones, it will catch the light with a subtle freshness that looks effortlessly natural

It’s No Makeup Makeup – while it won’t cover redness or blemishes, worn alone Complexion Enhancer will deliver a fresh, subtle beauty boost. Our customers love to pair it with a touch up like Secret Light Concealer to tackle specific problem areas but leave most of the face makeup-free.

How to apply

Apply with fingertips to cleansed skin before makeup or blend a dewy drop with your usual base. Equally well suited to blend with your choice of Tinted Moisturiser or Foundation.

Or if you don’t want to wear a base, pair with our Secret Light Concealer to touch up where needed.

Key Ingredients

Glycerin

Glycerol, or glycerin, is a colorless, odourless liquid used in pharmaceuticals and food. It reduces wound inflammation and is approved for wound care and skin grafts. In skincare, its humectant properties draw moisture to the skin, mimicking the natural moisturizing factor, enhancing hydration, resiliency, and youthfulness without triggering allergies.

Hyaluronic Acid

Sodium Hyaluronate, the salt of Hyaluronic Acid, is a potent humectant that naturally occurs in skin and connective tissue, retaining up to 1000 times its weight in water, and 370% more moisture even than collagen. Ageing reduces Hyaluronic Acid production, causing dryness, thinning, and wrinkles. Applying it topically re-plumps cells, improving skin appearance and smoothing out fine lines.

Aloe Vera

The gel in Aloe Vera's cactus-like fronds contains biologically active compounds like acetylated mannans, polymannans, anthraquinone, and lectins, which cool, soothe, moisturize, and soften skin. With antibacterial and anti-inflammatory qualities, it's been used for over 6000 years to treat sunburn, blisters, and burns, promoting exfoliation and healthy cell growth.

Sodium Lactate

Sodium Lactate is the soluble salt of Lactic Acid which forms when foods such as milk go through the process of fermentation. Its skin benefits have been known for a long time - Cleopatra famously bathed in sour milk for beautiful skin. The vegan, milk-free version we use is an alpha-hydroxy acid (AHA) which aids exfoliation and rejuvenation, reduces photo-aging, treats sun damage, and works as a humectant.

Mica

A mineral which, when coated with various layers of a chosen oxide, creates beautiful prism effects and sparkle in an array of colours. The smaller particle sizes create a shimmer effect, while larger particles create a glitter effect. Since natural mica is mined without proper concern for child labour practices, we use only synthetic mica – fluorophlogopite.

Triglycerides

A triglyceride is an ester derived from glycerol and three fatty acids. It is one of the main constituents of body fat in humans. In our cosmetics we use vegetable Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride, derived from coconut oil. It is a skin-compatible emollient and humectant that attracts and holds moisture with good lubricating and spreading properties.
